Have you heard? We’ve added an exciting new location to host your child’s birthday party. If your child has a summer birthday and loves to splish and splash then we have the perfect option for you! Our zoo birthday party package is now available in Waterfall Junction located in Riverbanks Botanical Garden.

Our birthday party package is still as easy as ever to plan the perfect day. Our staff will set up and clean up – all you need to do is provide the guests and cake!
Our Birthday Party Package includes:
• Admission – All Day Admission Tickets for Riverbanks Zoo & Garden for your entire party
• Food & Beverages – Choice of Pizza or Hot Dogs for the group, served with Kettle Chips, Lemonade and Water
• Birthday Gift – A special present from us to the Birthday Boy or Girl
• Party Gear – A small activity bag for each child and simple centerpieces for guest tables
Birthday parties take place on Saturdays or Sundays at 11:00am or 1:30pm and last for 1.5 hours.
Two Zoo Birthday Party Location Options
We now have two locations available for birthday parties. On the Zoo side, we offer our Congo Classroom, an outdoor private space located by the Gorilla Base Camp. On the Botanical Garden side, we offer the Waterfall Junction Classroom, an indoor private space located near the splash pad. During your time in either classroom, you and your guests can enjoy the food, open presents, blow out the candles, and play with the provided activity bags.
Unique Experiences
Also included in the package is a unique experience that will make your guests go wild! For the Congo Classroom, you will get a close-up look at two small mammal or small reptiles with a 30 minute meet and greet! For the Waterfall Junction unique experience, you will have the 25 foot waterfall and splash pad that’s just steps away from the classroom for you and your guests to splash the day away!
After your time in the classroom is up, you have the rest of the day to celebrate with all your favorite zoo animals! If you are looking for extra fun, we have several options you can add on to your package. Have a little monkey on your hands? Let them swing from the Sky-High Safari Ropes Course or scale the Wild Adventures Rockwall. Your child more grounded? We have face painting, magic shows, and carousel rides! Hungry as a hippo? We have lots of food additions like wings, meatballs, and cotton candy. And for some adult fun, how about a nice cold beer or chilled wine? There’s so much to choose from, you and your guests will be partying all day long!
An Unforgetable Birthday Party
Give your child a zoo birthday party they will never forget for only $26.95 per person. We even offer a special membership discount of $9 off the $26.95 for any guest who has admission covered under a membership! Each party is required to have at least 20 guests. This guest count includes adults and children 2 and over. Guests under 2 are free of charge.
